Daniel 9: 24-27

COPYRIGHT 11-12-2016. By Sylvan F. Tyrrel, All rights reserved

The Time-Lines – TABLE OF HISTORICAL EVENTS recently changed to pivot around the 3rd year of Jehoiakim (50), the son of Josiah (49).

The Time Line – TABLE OF HISTORICAL EVENTS was set to 4221 to be concurrent with 70 AD to provide the pivot event corresponding to the 3rd year of Jehoiakim (50), 3555 [587 BC according to Persian History].

Certain information provided on the Internet by NASA is about the Blood Moons Events beginning with the Four Blood Moons of 32 and 33 AD.

I believe and many Christians and Jews believe that the Death of Jesus Christ occurred during the Eclipse on 4-03-33 AD and the Resurrection followed 3-days later.

The prophesies of Daniel 9: 23 and 24 have a direct relations to crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Gabriel, God’s Archangel that delivers messages talks directly to Daniel to give him knowledge and understanding of the vision given to Daniel.

Daniel 9: 23    At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew [thee]; for thou [art] greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

Daniel 9: 24    - Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Seventy weeks of years: 70 times 7 equals 490-Years.  The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ provides the forgiveness of sins, a pardon and reconciliation for the iniquity of the people of Israel, and to bring everlasting righteousness by the blood sacrifice on the Cross.

On the 4th month and the 3rd day of 33 AD, Jesus was crucified and died during a full Eclipse of the Moon.

The 7th year of Artaxerxes I (3694 / 458 BC):  The Persian king made a Decree: All of freewill may go to Jerusalem.   [see. The Time Line – TABLE OF HISTORICAL EVENTS].

Ezra 7: 13  I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and [of] his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

Applying the prophesy of Daniel 9: 24 we may add 490-years to 3694, which yields 4184 equivalent to 33 AD on the Time Line.

The Time Line shall be changed to show the crucifixion to have occurred during the Four Blood Moons of 32-33 AD

Consider the prophesy of Daniel 9: 25 - Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

If Jesus lived: 4184 – 4151 = 33 Years:  4151 [identical to 1 BC]

The total years are:

Sixty-two plus 7 weeks of years: 69 times 7 equals 483-Years.

4152 – 483 = 483 BC [identical to 3669, the 3rd year of Xerxes I]

Consider the first part of the prophecy:

7 weeks of years: 7 times 7 equals 49-Years.

            3669 – 49 = 3718  [re; 3rd year of Xerxes I]

In the 3rd year of Ahasuerus (Xerxes I), Esther is brought into the King’s House (Shushan the palace), to the custody of Hegai, keeper of women [Esth 2: 8 So it came to pass, when the King’s Commandment and his Decree was heard].

This is the commandment to go forth, which results in the reversal of Haman’s Decree to kill all the Jews in all 127 provinces of the king’s domain.  In the 21st year of the king’s reign Mordecia replaces Haman as the king’s Number One in charge of all affairs.  Mosdecia makes the counter Decree allowing all Jews to fight against those hired by Haman, which successfully prevented a Jewish Holocaust [Esth 10:13 …….. and so the Jews celebrate Purim even to this day.]  Mordecia became the most powerful Jew in the kingdom of Xerxes I.  Xerxes I had Haman hanged on a gallows built for Mordecia because he would have killed Esther, the Queen that Xerxes I loved dearly.

Going forth from the 3rd year of Xerxes I to the 31st years of Artaxerxes I spans the first 49-years of the prophecy to the restoration of Jerusalem, including building the wall in troublesome times.

The span of 49 years brings us to:

3718 is 434 BC, which is the 31st year of Artaxerxes I.

At this time Nehemiah is completing is tenor as the Governor of Jerusalem.  Nehemiah is called a pechah, or governor, a title which in Ezr 5:14 is given to Sheshbazzar also, it has been supposed that pechah and tirshatha' were equivalent terms, the former being of Assyrio-Babylonian and the latter of Persian origin.

The 62 weeks of years (434 years) pass until the coming of Jesus 4152, which is 1 AD.  3718 + 434 = 4152 or 1 AD.

Daniel 9: 26 - And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

After the 62 weeks of years, Jesus is born in 1 AD destined to bring the Word of God to the Jews until the crucifixion when he is cut off from God the Father to take on himself the sins of the world.  On October 18, 69 AD at 23:46 the Lunar Eclipse warns of the destruction of Jerusalem on 70 AD.
